Examples of recent work include:
- A national boiler and plumbing company, has expanded rapidly across the nation with Italik’s custom-built IOS apps for iPads that support their field service engineers. The information gathered by engineers on iPads is transmitted back to a central database and integrated into various business applications
- A civil engineering company and a water utility needed a tailor-made app to support the surveys of all working at height equipment. Italik developed a custom android app which allows engineers to input their survey information directly into tablet devices. This information is again transmitted back to a central database.
- A Northern-based textiles manufacturer wanted to move to a cloud computing environment to reduce management overheads and to provide better connectivity for end users. Italik migrated 250 users from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange, set up MS Lync and deployed MS System Center.
