Italik have got a real blockbuster for you this May!

To mark our new Security First initiative, we’ve booked the Everyman Cinema, Leeds, to present our vision of the new IT landscape and why security is so important.

As you’d expect, there’s the inevitable bad guys to keep the plot really exciting, with stories of breached networks, dire circumstances and the unwitting accomplice from within. But there’s always a hero and this story is no exception.

Our story begins with a bit of wisdom from Italik’s CTO, Steve Pilkington, who describes our digital landscape and the opportunities for success. There’s a subplot about the price you have to pay for success and the storyline tackles this myth head-on, talking us through the steps to remain safe and secure.

We’re joined by our technology partners from Cisco, who describe the threat landscape, how the right IT solutions can protect us and help build strong, sustainable businesses. As you’d expect, this takes our story onto a global stage, with some fast moving scenes that will inform and excite.

As the story unfolds, we’ll show how important it is to know all the facts, demonstrating how our assessment services can give you that essential insight for successful planning. Co-stars, HyTrust, talk about data discovery, the need to understand where your data sits and who has access – We’re so impressed with the the HyTrust story that we’re giving free assessments to everyone in the audience. And our partners from Qualys take the story to the next level, showing us how to stay continually safe and secure in a world of digital threats.

The story climaxes with the Italik team saving the day through Security First and how, collectively, we can support your digital journey right through to the credits!

Screen 5.5 at The Everyman is themed on James Bond, so it seems fitting that we keep the momentum for the day with a private viewing of the modern classic Bond film, ‘Spectre’. Do join us for popcorn and refreshments while we watch this classic movie about cyber-crime and the power of good over evil.

If you’d like to join us for this exclusive screening, you can register here.
