Seamless synchronisation occurs via a dial up connection or by using wireless communications. SMS provides instant access to information from wherever the technician happens to be and by sharing data with the office in a two way stream allows companies to deliver a better, faster service whilst also reducing overall costs.
Office staff can log calls and allocate jobs to field service technicians who are then not only able to download their job schedules and associated details at the beginning of the day but are also able to take on new jobs that may arise over the course of the day. Office staff always have visibility of where technicians are working, as once a job is completed it can be marked as complete on the system along with the time, details of the job size and any materials used.
